Sublitex was born in 1976 in Alba from an ambitious project of the Miroglio Group, with the aim of exploring and developing the potential of transfer technology and anticipating the evolution of industrial printing processes.

Inside the Alba industrial facility are Sublitex Research & Development laboratories, equipped with a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory dedicated to quality control and validation of printing performance. In this facility, finished products and process parameters are constantly monitored through advanced technical tests, including: QUV-A and QUV-B accelerated aging tests lightfastness tests through SUN TEST analysis and color management with X-RITE systems abrasion and surface resistance tests TABER TEST Print quality is also verified in advance through a digital sampling service, which allows checking color rendition and transfer performance before industrial production starts. This approach ensures high quality standards, production continuity and reliability in transfer printing and surface decoration applications.

Starting in 2022, Sublitex has chosen to prepare its Sustainability Report as a tool for transparency and accountability to stakeholders, customers, and partners, with the aim of reporting in a structured way on its commitment to key issues for the future. The report documents the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and results, promoting a development model geared toward environmental protection, people's well-being, and ethical and responsible management of the company's activities. Digital Printing Department
Sublitex's digital printing department is equipped with advanced technologies designed to ensure high print quality, production flexibility and industrial continuity. The machine park includes: 5 scanning machines dedicated to printing on transfer paper and technical films 1 single pass system for sublimation paper printing, with production speeds of up to 90 meters per minute These technologies enable high-efficiency production runs, ensuring color accuracy, repeatability of the result and optimization of processing times.
Fabric preparation and finishing
For the preparation and finishing operations of textile materials, Sublitex uses: 1 Pentek plant 1 industrial stenter These technologies make it possible to optimize the dimensional stability of the fabric and ensure high performance in the subsequent printing and transfer stages.
Calendering department
The thermal transfer department consists of: 2 high-capacity industrial calanders, with production speeds of up to 20 m/min, dedicated to large production volumes 2 medium-sized calanders, ideal for small and medium production and flexible processing 1 calender dedicated to Foil transfer, designed for special applications and advanced decorative finishes
Rotary Printing Department
The gravure printing department is equipped with: 2 7-cylinder rotary presses, dedicated to large-scale industrial production Rotary printing ensures high production stability, quality uniformity and consistent performance, making it particularly suitable for continuous production and large volumes.
Automation and manufacturing infrastructure
Sublitex has highly automated facilities designed to ensure production accuracy, operational efficiency and quality continuity throughout the entire industrial process.
Automated color kitchen
Color formulation is managed through a fully automated color kitchen, developed in collaboration with Dromont, which ensures high precision in the preparation of color recipes and maximum repeatability over time, a key element for continuous industrial production and consistent quality standards.
Automatic packing system
he logistics department is equipped with an automatic packaging machine, with direct printing of identification codes on the packaging. This solution eliminates the use of adhesive labels applied with glue, improving efficiency, product traceability and process sustainability.
Automated cylinder warehouse
Sublitex operates an automated cylinder warehouse with more than 15,000 gravure cylinders, enabling fast and efficient production management, reducing set-up times and providing high operational flexibility.
