DecotransAlu is a sublimated-ink printing, high-definition polyester film. The film can be to give a wood effect or wood grain appearance or "decorative finishes". Originally conceived to decorate natural wood window or doorframes, the film may be used in a variety of applications across the Construction and Architecture universe: doors, windows, locks, furbishing, kitchen elements and interior decoration. By virtue of a transfer printing system, DecotransAlu penetrates permanently into painted aluminium, acquiring the characteristics of upper-edge weatherproof attributes and resistance to wear and tear over time. DecotransAlu transfers onto aluminium surfaces by sublimation. This high-temperature process enables colours to be transferred from the film onto aluminium surfaces without producing emissions or vapours.
